Featured!

These aren't two of my most popular works (unlike most of the others I'll end up posting on here), but a friend of mine on dA was nice enough to feature me in a collection of black and white photos by some of his friends and I figured that anyone who actually watches this journal (HA!) might like to see them. Whether you're a member of DeviantART or not, try to find some time to stop by *DrJamesWilson's profile/gallery (And, yes, it's the same Dr. James Wilson that you're thinking it might be :P).

Triquetra

(CLICK PICTURE FOR MUCH BETTER QUALITY)

Yeah, I know, I know, I leave for a while and when I come back, I still only end up posting something else from my deviantART site. Oh well. :D

Made with Apophysis and named for the design in the center. Triquetra is also supposed to be Latin for three-pointed. Though you can't see the original anymore, this is actually the second version of this particular fractal. Thanks to a suggestion from ~DarkZRobe, I was convinced to re-render this for a better quality fractal.

Lounging

Even though I have other, more complicated stuff on my DeviantART Site (see side bar under "My Other Sites"), I figured this would be a good first post since it seems to be a favorite among everything on my page.

I did not draw this. I printed out the coloring page and colored it with colored pencils. I tried for the layered and multicolor look that is actually so prevalent in nature. Other than some problems with the face, I think it turned out really well.
